From first-timers to veteran anglers, we run 4, 6, and 8-hour private charters tailored to your goals. Whether you’re chasing Amberjack, Bull Shark, Sailfish, African Pompano, Goliath Grouper, or Cobia, Captain John knows exactly where to put you and what to throw. Want something custom? Just ask—we'll line it up.

Every charter comes stocked with:

  • Fishing licenses

  • Top-quality rods, reels, lures, and tackle

  • Live bait prepped and ready to go

  • Ice and cooler space for your catch

  • Fish cleaning and filleting post-trip

  • Absolutely. Any fish caught legally gets cleaned, filleted, and bagged by our crew—no charge.

  • We launch from Oceans Edge Resort & Marina on Stock Island, Key West (5095 Peninsular Ave, Key West, FL 33040).

  • Safety comes first. If conditions go sideways, Captain John will either reschedule your trip or give you a full refund.

  • Tarpon, Grouper, Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, and Sailfish top the list on our trips.

  • We run a mix—trolling, fly fishing, light tackle, bottom fishing—whatever gets you hooked.

  • Everything from deep-sea and reef fishing to flats and offshore action.

  • We take a 20% deposit upfront (cash or card), and the rest is due after the trip.

  • Give us a two-week heads-up and you're off the hook. Cancellations under that timeframe may impact refunds.

  • Yep—20% is the norm if they deliver the goods and the experience.

  • You bet—rods, reels, tackle, and bait are all handed to you.

  • Nope, you're covered. Our charter license covers everyone on board.

  • Essentials: sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, non-slip shoes, maybe a light jacket. Snacks, water, and a camera are smart too.
